   Luteinized Unruptured Follicle Syndrome
   A condition in which the follicle develops and changes into the corpus luteum without releasing the egg. This is commonly seen when an LH surge is not followed by ovulation. The condition can be confirmed with ultrasound and may account for 5-30% of women with unexplained infertility.
