Gonococcal Pharyngitis

Sexually transmitted infection of the pharynx. The infection is caused by an uninfected individual performing oral sex on an individual that is infected with gonorrhea. The infection can cause sore throat, discomfort in swallowing and occasionally, a discharge with swelling of the vulva. Synonym(s): Pharyngeal Gonorrhea
