    An abnormally large colon in a newborn resulting from an absence of nerve cells at the junction of the rectum and the colon. Symptoms include a distended abdomen, failure to pass meconium, and vomiting of bile. Eventually the entire colon will become dilated.

On 10th February 1996, a computer, Deep Blue, beat Russian Garry Kasparov, the greatest chess player on the planet, and mankind’s place in the order of things was reshuffled. The match immediately became an iconic symbol of the advances made in artificial intelligence and supercomputing. Kasparov has since retired, like Deep Blue, which now resides in a museum.
